We’ll provide our Australian address and instructions for safely packing and posting your console.
Free Assessment
We’ll inspect the console and provide a quote for the requested work or any repairs we recommend.
Approve the Work
Nothing is carried out until you approve the quote. Once completed, your console will be tested and returned.

Which consoles do you work on?
We currently offer repairs and upgrades for original Nintendo Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Advance SP consoles.
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. There is no charge for inspecting your console and preparing a quote. You only pay if you approve the quoted repair or upgrade work.
Will you carry out work before I approve the price?
No. We’ll provide a quote first and wait for your approval before carrying out any paid work.
Can I request more than one upgrade?
Yes. You can combine compatible upgrades, such as an IPS V5 screen, USB-C charging, a battery upgrade and tactile buttons. Compatibility will be confirmed during the assessment.
Can every console be repaired?
Unfortunately, not every fault is economical or technically possible to repair. Severe corrosion, damaged motherboards, missing components or previous modifications can affect whether the work is viable.
What happens if I decline the quote?
No repair or upgrade work will be performed. You’ll only need to cover the cost of returning the console to you.
Who pays for postage?
The customer is responsible for sending the console to RetroFit and for return postage. Tracked postage and secure packaging are strongly recommended.
Should I send games or accessories?
Please do not send games, cases, chargers or other accessories unless we specifically ask for them. Include your name, email address and assessment reference inside the parcel.
