General Questions
Are these authentic Nintendo consoles?
Yes. Every RetroFit console uses genuine Nintendo motherboard hardware. The shell, screen and selected components are upgraded, but the core console hardware is authentic.
What is the difference between IPS V5 and older screens?
IPS V5 screens are brighter, sharper and more modern than older display kits, with strong viewing angles, multiple brightness levels and a cleaner image for retro games.
Will my old Pokémon cartridges work?
Yes. Game Boy Advance consoles play Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance cartridges.
Shipping & Delivery
How fast do you ship?
Most orders dispatch within 1–2 business days. Tracking is provided once your order is on the way.
Do you ship within Australia?
Yes. RetroFit is Australian-based and ships locally, which means faster delivery and easier support.
What happens if the console arrives damaged?
Contact us straight away with photos or video. We’ll help resolve the issue properly.
Warranty & Support
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers faults related to the build, screen installation and hardware function. It does not cover accidental damage, water damage or user modifications.
Can I return my console?
Returns are assessed based on condition and reason for return. Faulty items are handled quickly and fairly.
Can I get help after purchase?
Yes. You can contact RetroFit for support before and after your order.
Technical Questions
Can I adjust the screen settings?
Yes. IPS V5 displays include adjustable brightness and display modes depending on the console build.
What is better: GBA or GBA SP?
The GBA SP is compact and folds shut. The original GBA is wider and often more comfortable for longer sessions. Both play the same games.
Do you include games?
No. Listings are for the console only unless a listing specifically says otherwise.
