Game Boy Advance SP - Gengar Evolution Edition
Restored in Brisbane

Game Boy Advance SP – Gengar Evolution Edition

Gastly, Haunter and Gengar artwork sits over a deep purple transparent shell.

What makes it different

  • IPS V5 backlit screen with adjustable brightness.
  • Original Nintendo mainboard, cleaned and tested.
  • Restored design: Gengar evolution artwork on a clear purple SP shell.
  • 850mAh rechargeable battery — roughly 4-5 hours of play per charge.

Choose your charging port

Select Standard Charging for the original-style port, or USB-C Fast Charging for a modern cable. Choose your option above before adding the console to your cart.

Make it yours

Every console ships fully restored and ready to play. These upgrades are optional, not required — pick them only if they matter to you.

  • Tactile Buttons: replaces the stock membrane pads with a crisper, more responsive click — noticeable if you've felt a well-worn original SP go soft over time.
  • Audio Amp Boost: a louder, clearer built-in speaker, for anyone who plays without headphones.
  • Custom Button Colour: a purely cosmetic swap so your build matches your shell, or stands out from every other Gengar Evolution Edition out there.

In the box

  • Game Boy Advance SP – Gengar Evolution Edition with IPS V5 screen
  • Rechargeable battery, pre-installed

Console only; games are not included. Plays original Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance cartridges.

Shipping and support

Each console is rebuilt and tested by hand in Brisbane. Free tracked shipping within Australia is included. Our work and fitted parts carry a 100-day warranty from delivery. Eligible unused consoles can be returned within 30 days for store credit or exchange. Read the full returns and warranty policy.

Fantastic product. Arrived super quick. When the product arrived, the screen settings were cycling through unprompted, but when I emailed about this, Elliott replied super quick, was very helpful in guiding me through fixing the problem, even offered to come out to my place to to help fix it! Fantastic customer service, cannot recommend enough.

The gameboy also arrived with a small case. I was genuinely impressed with how it was packaged. The gameboy itself is also very well crafted and I immediately put a case on it to protect it. It works very well and the buttons are super responsive. I’m so happy with it.

This review isn’t even close to enough to describe how happy and satisfied I am with my SP. Elliot is truly incredible and creates exceptional art.
Originally, my SP was supposed to be exactly as described, but we ended up making some changes—and it turned into something completely personalized, which made it even more special.
The art, the product, and the quality are all amazing. And it’s so important to mention that Elliot is also a wonderful person to work with.
This absolutely made this nostalgic 90s girl so happy 🎃 👻 🖤
